Enjoy safe taxi rides with our professional drivers

All of Taxidatas drivers have completed our professional driver training program and are qualified to operate in the taxi field.

Taxidata organizes several driver training programs yearly both internally and as a part of Traficom approved training organization.

The training program is a thorough program covering all key areas of the industry such as laws and regulations, different types of transportation, local knowledge and professional customer service.

The training includes:

  • Basic knowledge of the industry, laws and regulations
  • Taxi industry practices, different types of transportation and payment methods
  • Professional customer service
  • Driver training for special groups
  • Local knowledge of the surrounding area
  • Taxi equipment

Upon successful completion of the entire course and related exams, we will issue the driver with a Taxidata ID card (driver card) and they will be qualified to work for Taxidata’s partner companies.

Driver training for special groups

Successful completion of driver training for special groups is mandatory for transport services paid for by Kela and the Varsinais-Suomi welfare region (Varha). Taxidata regularly organizes this training as part of the basic course for new drivers.
